Tri Tech has been using laser cutting technology since 1997. We find it provides outstanding quality and is fast, efficient and cost effective.   In 2006 we upgraded our laser cutting capability with the purchase of a 4kw Mazak laser with a 5' x 10' bed.  The added power allows Tri Tech to cut thicker materials, while the 5' x 10' bed represents added capacity.

The clean cut achieved using lasers results in a burr-free edge, typically eliminating the need for secondary operations such as sanding or grinding. Using the laser, we produce detailed designs not feasible with other cutting methods. Our programmers can perform updates quickly without tooling changes. We use this versatile technology for prototype development, small jobs and large production runs. By nesting programs, we can produce multiple parts and/or multiple jobs using the same material simultaneously, resulting in improved material utilization and increased efficiency.   We primarily use laser technology to cut the following materials and thicknesses:
